I'm wanting to create a drop down that has hover effects on each of the options but also you can tap on whatever option you choose. So far I've made the below components : Select, Option 1, Option 2 and Option 3.

I then duplicated instances of option 1, 2 and 3 and put them in the Select component in a new state named 'Default State_open'

I then created closed state options for option 1 2 and 3

I moved to prototyping mode to connect the nodes but I noticed it won't let me connect option 1 to the closed option state I had created. It doesn't appear in the dropdown options. I know its because its an instance of a component, but it there any better way to go about this? I would like to maintain the hover effect on each option while also being about to select them
