I would like to be able to expand the area around an object (example: text) to be larger than the actual text so that I can make them easily clickable.
Padding is non-responsive for this use and does not allow for interaction. I'm not sure if that is a bug or not, but currently creating transparent boxes to overlay on text is not ideal.

Hi Severon,
Thank you for getting in touch with us about expanding the area around an object. I am unable to reproduce the issue at my end may be I am missing something. Is it possible for you to share a short video of the workflow for better understanding so that we can try to replicate it at our end? What is the OS and XD version of your machine?
We will try our best to help.
Thanks,
Harshika

From what I understand, you want to increase the size of the bounding box around an object and not have it snap to it. If that is correct, then I am afraid you cannot do that. Why are you finding it difficult to click within the area now? Like Harshika said, a video or screenshot would definitely help us understand your situation.

Thank you for your replies! Very oddly - I just tried it and the padding is working just fine to trigger the event.
I promise you I tested this again before I submitted the ticket - either way, that's great news that it's working as I had hoped it would.
Thank you and sorry for wasting your time!
