Design specs vs CC account

Do all collaborators need to have an Adobe ID or an Adobe CC account in order to see the shared design spec links? I sent the design specs link that XD generated to a developer outside my local team, but all he sees is this.

"To make accessing a design spec more seamless, effective as of March 21, 2018, viewing a published design spec will no longer require a sign-in with an Adobe ID. All existing design spec URLs remain the same and are still public links, meaning that anyone who has the link is able to view it. Any new design spec that you publish will also no longer require a sign-in with an Adobe ID."

Yes, the other collaborators will need an Adobe ID to access the shared design spec links. Creating an Adobe ID is free. See Adobe ID  to create an Adobe ID.

Thanks,

Preran

Too bad. It raises the threshold for people wanting to engage. Developers are not always Adobe friendly creatures. Should be easy to deliver the link and specs service with no membership.

That's good news Dan! Finally Adobe is in touch with the real world - at least on this very issue . I tried this today but it stills requires Adobe ID on the receiving end. I'll try again later.
