[Design]-Unable to change the padding of the button with the help of shortcut in XD.

Hey there,

After the so promising realase of the 26.0 patch, I was pretty damn hyped! And particularly about the Padding Scale option which looked brilliant. 

How sad was I when after 30 minutes of search, I found out that every single shortcut I could find on the forums and such to allow the scale on hover wasn't working me but instead the arrow down key was my shortcut, which basically makes the feature unusable considering the fact that everytime I try on scaling the padding on hover I press arrow down and the button moves down, which makes the interaction impossible and makes me feel like I'm Sylvester running after Tweety...

Am I the only one having this issue?

Does anyone have a solution ? :3

Please give more details and steps what and how are you doing? What is expected result that you want to get and actual result?

It's pretty simple actually, I'm using the new padding feature, therefore grouping two elements in order to specify the padding around the element place into the other one. 

When doing so I should be able to manually set the padding for each side by holding a key and dragging each padding back and forth with my mouse. My issue here is the key I'va to hold in order to drag the padding, the shortkey is sort on "arrow down' by default for some reasons, and it doens't seem like there's an other one set.

Which keeps me away from manually setting the padding considering the "arrow down" key as "arrow top" "arrow left"and "arrow righ" are moving the element.

Hi There,

Thank you for reaching out and sharing the details asked by Ares. It looks like you are pressing the down arrow key by selecting the object. In order to resize the padding you need to select the side of the padding and then if you press down or up arrrow key it decrease and increase the padding of that particular side.

Either way is there a way to manually resize the padding with our mouse, kinda as the repetitive grid spacing works? That's what I was looking for at first lmao

Found the answer by myself! To manually resize the padding on Windows, press "ù" while hovering the elements then you can drag and resize each padding or both at once with "Alt".
