Desktop preview does not let me interact with my art board

Hello, I am very new to adobe XD, and I find it very frustrating to use. I have created a link with the plugin called anima so when a user clicks on the text it will make them click the link and bring them to the website. I have done everything but when I try to interact with what I created in the desktop preview, it does not let me click or interact with anything on the art board, it's just like if it was an image. I made a link and hover effect, but both of those do not show. How can I fix this? Please do like a step-by-step instruction or something easy to follow. I have very little experience in how to use XD. thanks

forgot to mention but should be obvious, when i hover over the clickable link i made in the preview and try to click nothing happens. spam clicking, dragging, rightclicking..... absolutley nothing is working.

We are sorry for the delay in response. The Hyperlink functionality isn't available in XD so far so that's why you are unable to interact with the link within XD. Please submit your feedback and upvote the request and add your voice.

Please try publishing your design and open the prototype link in the browser and then see if the hyperlink is working in thr browser.
