When I copy text from one file and paste it into another file using XD, the content and the styling appears to revert to a default for reasons which are frustrating.

Above is an image in one file. I am trying to copy over the dollar values. I select them, and then trigger "Copy" (cmd+c)

Here is the second file. It is localized and it needs those dollar figures. Right now, there is nothing on it. I reached this file by going to the "window" menu and switching to this file.

This is what happens when I Cmd+v (paste). Notice that the content, the color and extra content is all wrong. I am completely unsure of why this is happening. I believe this may be a bug, or a UI shortcoming in a platform dedicated to user experience.

  2. Is this happening with a specific file or multiple files?
  3. Is this happening with a specific fonts or multiple fonts?
  4. Will it be possible for you to share a sample file for testing?
