Exporting into SVG is creating empty masks in XD.

Participant ,

Exporting a component to SVG (for example, an icon) adds extra paths to the SVG file.

My vector in Xd uses strokes and fills, but the SVG exported results in masking the strokes to create fills, and a more complex file that isn't very useful for build (can't control stroke widths).

This is a bug.

Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out and using Adobe XD. We would like to know a few more details to investigate like-

  • What is the OS & XD version of the machine you're working on?
  • Is it happening with this file or all the files?

We would also like to confirm if you're following the same process as mentioned in this article: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/xd/help/export-design-assets.html#export-svg for exporting into SVG.

We will try our best to help.

Thanks,

Harshika
