I just did the February update of Adobe XD and now it does not open.
It starts, but does not load the inteface and then closes.
How can I fix this problem? Is it possible to go back to the previous version?
I use Windows 10 64 bit.
Some more feedback, the steps I used to get back on track on my second computer:
1. Uninstall XD
2. Close Creative cloud
3. Delete temp files below %temp%\CreativeCloud
4. Log off and on again
5. Re-install XD and all starts as it should again

Can you confirm the version? There was a release early today.

I'm having the same issue. I was on XD yesterday and there were no issues, today however it goes onto a white window then closes. I then realised there was an update and did that, no luck. Looked everywhere and cannot find a fix. I've tried reinstalling XD but again no luck

I unplugged the XD and used the Cleaner tool. I installed it again but the problem continues. White window and close after. Creative Cloud is upgraded to the latest version and I tried to install the latest version of XD 16.0.2.

Thank you for the info. Can you try the following troubleshooting procedure and let us know if it helped? Another user on a different post said that it helped him.

It's not a very good idea to uninstall all the Visual C++ packages... can have some severe effects on other applications

I did 1-4, restarted and unstalled XD. Now i got it up and running!
So there was no need to uninstall the Visual C++ Redistributable packages
I have the same on another computer and will try to narrow down the fix there tonight

Before I proceed, do you have an Enterprise or Team License? If you do, you would have received information to contact Adobe Tech Support directly during your purchase.
From what I see, it looks like you work as part of a team, and you are most likely the administrator. Let me know if I got that right.
Thanks,
Preran

Only I use XD.
On the Desktop all programs are installed through a windows user profile called Administrator.
Many people can use the desktop, they use their profiles of winsdows users.
I have a windows user account, but when I want to use XD using my profile I can not, I need to log in as Administrator for this.

Sorry to hear that. Can you restart your computer and let us know?
If that did not work, can you let me know the Creative Cloud Sync Version on your computer? Go to Help > About XD and look for the version number.
Thanks,
Preran

Should I do this with Administrator profile or with my user profile in Windows?

You can do this as a normal user.
However, it will ask for admin privs when you delete the temp files (so you need to have that available)

Same. XD crashes immediately after starting. Doesn't matter if you start the app itself or open a .xd file.

Hi,
Using the Administrator user XD acknowledges the installation and I can use it as shown below.

When I switch to my user, XD does not appear installed, as the images show.

So I can not re-start step 1:
1. Uninstall XD
But I did the other steps and lastly I tried to install the XD. It does not complete installation, goes up to 4% and does not advance.

But XD is already installed on the computer and can be accessed with the Administrator user profile.
Get ready! An upgraded Adobe Community experience is coming in January.
