How to apply hover effect on text in XD?

Hi,

I am creating website prototypes in xd. I want the definition of a word to pop up when I hover my mouse on the word. How do I do it?

Hello Smitha, you can do that using component states, although it's not easily applicable for a lot of items, as you'll have to make a new component for each word and make that word a separate layer.

 

Here's an example, and here's the file, so you can see how it's set up.
