How do you make two toggle buttons actually turn stuff on and off, not just animate themselves?

After years of watching videos on XD I finally dived in and am incredibly confused with prototyping. To keep it simple, I just want two toggle buttons to show or hide images on an artboard.

I figured out the two toggle buttons. It wasn't that hard afterall. In reality I'm confused by trying to show 10 different buttons in any state a person chooses. I'll keep playing around to try and figure it out.

Make your button a Component.

Then you can add multiple States.

In your protoytpe, you can then setup Interactions to switch between the States.
