How to allign text based on baseline and capheight?

Hello, I have the issue that currently text seems to be aligned based on ascender height and descender height.

Which really messes with my visual scaling of text based content.

Hence, I would need to use cap height and baseline.

 

If there is a fix to this, please let me know. Thanks a lot!

Hi Itami,

you could add a guideline on the cap height of your text and then align your elements.

Hello gianvitulano,

unfortunately, guidelines don't snap to the cap height of typography.

 

Also, since I need to hand off my work to various developers. I can't hand off XD design specs. As all spacing and alignment around text objects will be inaccurate.
