Hi all scripters/devs,

I am wanting to create a plugin that will to create components and new states based off of pre-existent component names (like an endsWith method). Is that possible? If so, could you point me to documentation?

*Pictures of the current state and desired state are featured.

@HARSHIKA_VERMA, with all due respect, that is not helpful. All the documentation for developing a plugin states that the plugin will live in the 'develop' folder somewhere on machine. I properly have a starter plugin loaded, but the Developer Console is stating this: "The 'develop' folder will be deprecated. Please use Adobe UXP Developer Tools."

So now I have you and the Developer Console telling me to switch to Adobe UXP Developer Tools...which I then loaded UXP with my test plugin, but that still uses the 'develop' folder. What is the new folder structure necessary for UXP and will the documentation ever be updated?

LATEST

Hi @Seth24910359586o,

Thank you for your patience. The old documentation is accurate for the earlier version of XD; that is the reason the team has kept it.

If you're building for the latest version, you can click on other link on the same page, you'll be redirected to the latest documentation.

To get started, please check this page: https://developer.adobe.com/xd/uxp/develop/tutorials/quick-start/.

Let me know if you need further assistance. I would be happy to help.

Thanks,

Harshika
