How to us other states instead of hover state in Adobe XD?

hi how can i create active state as i dont wont hover state in mobile but i want the button to chage once user press the button

'New State' is exactly what you need, as long as you set interactions properly in Prototype mode.

tried using new state, di not work, need to change button style once button is presses and not when hovering

once i create new state for active, i also have to crete another link once button is pressed, i want the styles to chage while taking prototype to new screen

If I understand correctly, in your case you can just switch the state manually.

i want the button to chage colour as it goes to next screen currently i have to tap twice

If you change page you don't need actions applied directly to the button to change its state. Just use one link from page A to page B, then in B simply swap the button's state manually.
