Images gets smaller in size and quality while importing

Community Beginner ,

Hello everyone,

I recently noticed importing images into Adobe XD using import command or drag and drop will make the images half it's size,

like 1920 x 1080 px will get imported as 540 x 960 px and scaling it up will lose quality.

is there any other way to import? to keep the original size

thank you

using Adobe xd  37.0.32.10

Your image is JPEG (not PNG). Try exporting to PNG from Photoshop and import.

Drag and drop but it will triger the same code for placing image. Can you share the image file to test. What kind of file is your image?

Thank you for your collaboration. yes here is the file. PNG file.
About the file, It was originally as EXR, file rendered in Cinema 4D, edited in Photoshop and exported as png. it is the same scenario for my other file 4k px and so on. thank you again.

It is the same story for any image file, even 300px, it gets imported half the size.

I just noticed the problem does not happen to other files not edited by photoshop, like screenshots!

Personally I think XD should not do this. I don't underhand the logic behind it.
