Lag when using the text tool in XD 42.0 on windows machine

This problem started in May. I have tried:

• Uninstalling XD 
• Installing old XDs
• Updating all drivers
• uninstalling font manager 

total uninstall of Adobe with CC Cleaning tool
This is the only adoby app that does this. Text tool works fine in Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. Happens on clowed and local saved files. Seem if I wait out the lag, 10 minets or better, the text tool and other tools work fine!

Running:

XD 42.0.22.11

Edition Windows 10 Pro
Version 21H1
Installed on ‎4/‎30/‎2021
OS build 19043.985
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz

Intel® UHD Graphics 630

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650

Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.7 GB usable)

I'm sorry I missed your last email.
As soon as I click on the canvas with the Text Tool it does nothing. The
side panel doesn't even change to pick a font. I use fonts from my hard
drive and Adobe fonts and it does not seem to see any of them. If I open an
old XD file with text as soon as I select the text it stops responding.
Again this only happens in XD.

I also just did a Windows repair install to see if it would fix it but it
didn't help at all.

• What font manager did you use? As they need to test the compatibility between XD and this font manager, because it could block the access to certain fonts, even if it is uninstalled.
• Did you use downloadable fonts (fonts that are installed on demand)?
• Given the huge number of fonts that can't be read by XD, are there any fonts that are not visible in XD, but they can be used in another application? What fonts are these?

  This one got me thinking... I have over 5300 fonts on my computer. I reinstaled FontBase and deactiveded all my fonts and you know what happened, XD works fine now! I cant believe it has taken me / us this long to come up with this answer.  I am so glad I can get back to using XD on my personal computer!!!!
