Local fonts not loading to XD

They show up in other Adobe apps just fine but won't show up in XD unless I go and reinstall them every time I reopen the app. Is there a fix for this?

which version of Adobe XD are you using? Do you use a font manager?

I don't use a font manager and the most current version.

I'm on Windows and I've made sure my fonts are installed in the proper place, I also tried installing them on creative cloud and nothing seems to fix it. The only other app that I'm having the same issue with is Figma.
