Major issue with last update of XD, What painful!

Hello,

Just to inform the support of XD, with my team we encountered issues about shared libraries. Before, we worked on a common "assets library" file (cloud document), which was attached. Now we had to migrate it as "library" and invite members, but since this has been done, no more synchronisation in real time with the famous "update (...) items" (in blue button) at the bottom of the assets panel when something is edited and saved into the cloud document... How can we resolve it? Because it's really painful to copy/paste the components from the asset library rather than to pick up from the assets panel.

Maybe we missed something with this new interface and process?

Thanks

Aurélie

Hi Aurélie,

We're so sorry for the delay in response. Could you please confirm if it is still happening on the latest version of XD which is 35.1? For more information on CC Library you can also refer to this article: https://helpx.adobe.com/xd/user-guide.html/xd/help/use-assets-creative-cloud-libraries.ug.html

Hello,

Thanks to follow. Since the last update, we can now "update" the library from the source, so I resolved the issue. But between the old version and the new (switch from cloud file to library), there are plenty of conflict between the components (red links), so we need to copy/paste a recent version into the new file to "re-generate" the link in blue automatically.

So it's not really useful, but we find a temporary solution waiting the next update...
