Memory Leaks on MacOS

I'm running XD on MacOS BigSur and recently there have been a number of occasions (+10) where the computer is so slow that I can't even call up activity monitor. When I'm able to it appears that XD is taking up all the CPU time (and sometimes memory too). This wasn't like this before and XD was always at a reasonable performance.

Hi, what version of Adobe XD are you using? Does this problem occur with all files?

Yeah always the latest versions:

  • MacOS Big Sur 11.6.2 (20G314)
  • Adobe XD 47.0.22.9  (released 17 days ago)

Yes, it doesn't matter which file. I've encountered this now with my work files, some of my personal GameDev UI files, as well as with external company files I open and use. I work on XD like the whole day, so when my computer slows to a crawl and then once I quit/force quite XD, it comes back to life again. Also scrolling used to be fast enough, now it's almost unusable in some cases.

Have you tried doing a fresh install of Adobe XD?

I missed this message. I'm trying a uninstall and then a re-install.

I've done the unstall and re-install. Seems to be ok for now. I'll keep monitoring it.
