Need Opinion: Development work after design in XD (Was: After XD?)

Hi all,

I've relatively new to XD but as a visual designer, I love the interface and find it great for prototyping sites and apps as I'm sure you all do too. My question is about your experiences with the development stage after the design work has been initially completed in XD. I'm about to totally redesign a site for a client as am intending to hire a developer to make the magic happen. What experiences have you had of this process and which (in your opinon) is the best backend to use?

Cutting to the chase, what's your best way of getting a digital design from XD to a live site/interface?
