Oh I don't think so, maybe that trial is for pro features, I'd install XD and start using it, the pro limitations are about sharing libraries etc as this post indicates the most up to date info about it: https://helpx.adobe.com/xd/kb/changes-to-xd-starter-plan.html As I said just install and use I don't think there's a time limitation of XD's free usage.
