Hi, I'm trying to create a numeric counter in a page with different sections. But I'm having some problems because the counter is functioning when in the board there is only itself, instead if there are other sections in the page what can I do?

Can you describe in more detail about how it is not working? If your issue is on one artboard, your counter works, numbers go up and down without an issue. You navigate to a new artboard that have the counter on it and the number that was previously on the first artboard is not being shown, but rather the initial state of the counter. Is that your issue? If so there is not a a great solution. Components don't have a concept of state in XD, nor are there variables to store values into. Your counter on the first artboard has no way to tell the counter on the second artboard what value it is.  The only solution is to have each state of the counter be on its own artboard, AND have artboards for each state on the next set of artboards, so when the counter is 3, it will go to artboard-2 #3. As you might guess this is a messy solution.

Make variables in Figma very appealing...
