Hello,

My post is being ignored by the Adobe team since January so i'll just create this one to remind you to fix this problem:Can't open Cloud Document Files (again for the 100th time)

If necessary I can create everyday a new post as a reminder

Thank you

I suggest you keep contact with Adobe about this directly, and restrict your thoughts and reports to that current post. I understand your pain and worries, but flooding this User Community forum with a daily new post would be a nuisance, and is useless since users evidently can't solve technical bugs.

In the meantime, refrain from using Adobe CC (or any other cloud service for that matter) as the sole repository of your work. Apart from Dropbox, I never trust them. All the others (whatever their ever-changing brand names) are too unreliable. They're often slow, they're sometimes messing things up, they're repeatedly begging for attention, for feedback, for money...

The problem is that the Adobe itself is ignoring me.

They sent me an email to check if the problem was solved after an update and nothing else. The only feedback that I'm getting is that the responsible team is working on it.

Every time that I save something in the cloud, I must log in on a different machine to recover my work, and there are 2 problems with that:

1) I don't have another machine
2) I shouldn't be forced to open my projects on a different machine every week to recover my work just because Adobe can't solve their own problems, and it looks like they're not even trying

You're right, I shouldn't be saving my work on cloud, but I have to if I want to see my projects on my phone and tablet. And if the cloud has this problem, they shouldn't even sell it.

Lucky me that I use a free subscription for Creative Cloud, but what if I paid for it?

This is happening since January, imagine that... There was a month that every week I was on the phone with someone from Adobe and the only thing that he did was recovering my projects, he never could solve the problem

Hmm...

Lucky me that I use a free subscription for Creative Cloud, but what if I paid for it?

What if that aspect could be an overlooked cause of the malfunctioning situation ?

I know, it shouldn't be a problem, but what if we could finally diagnose this as the crucial difference ? If you'd like to test it, I'll let you try to save my normal test file on your free cloud and I'll try to save one of your alleged problematic test file on my paid cloud.

Just let me know.

And about all the bugs and flaws and discrepancies: I'm also not happy with the way in which Adobe deploys new features in many applications; half-baked, and somewhat user tested. But it's their modern approach of sprinting their way through feature requests, design ideas, and development. E.g. in XD, after two years of waiting, they finally implement Custom Guides, by offering a draggable ruler guide from an invisible edge of the artboard. No visible clues, no measures or rulers, and quite tedious to invoke when you're zoomed in on the artboard. And also after two years we finally get Text Case conversion. But apparently no one at Adobe needs plain Sentence case...

I do save some of my work on google drive and I have no problem with it. I am on Windows 10. I have the google folder on my drive and they sync.

What I like about Google drive is that it saves versions and sometimes it is good to be able to return to a previous version.

As far as the cloud saving in XD, this is another thing. It seems it does not work well all the time. So I prefer Google.

Maybe you should try that.

Hello resdesign, the problem here is not the fact that I can't used the Cloud itself. The problem is that the projects must be saved in the cloud to open them in the Adobe XD App for mobile.
