I am aware how to create a fixed position for a back to  top like but is is possible to add top paddng and have it appear futher down the scroll outside of the viewport yet still have its fixed positioning? If so, then how would this acheved? Thanks.

Thank you. I did see this and in its example the "back-to-top" link is in the view port but hidden. I am trying to place it outside of the viewport. I will keep looking at ait and maybe I will figure it out. Thanks.

Hmm I see, I thought it'd be better to explore the hiding method instead of keeping it at outside of the viewport. Also if you don't know about "keeping an element part of the artboard even if it's placed outside of viewport" trick, you can check one of my past videos : https://youtu.be/vcJfLG2_VTk?t=128 , I'd like to be updated about how you solve this, if it's possible, happy designing!
