Preserve Scroll XD Not Working

Community Beginner ,
Oct 11, 2018 Oct 11, 2018

When I transition back to the previous artboard, the scroll position does not maintain, but instead reverts to inside viewport. I have set 'Preserve Scroll Position' Here is the prototype.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling XD.

Hi Lanew,

Thanks for using Adobe XD and sharing the feedback about preserve scrolling feature. Could you please test this prototype: - Adobe XD CC and check if you are using the setting mentioned in the 3rd Artboard?

Thanks,

Atul_Saini

Thank you for your response. Yes! That's what I am trying to accomplish. Here are my settings. Can you please let me know how to adjust? (BTW - somehow I was logged in under another user from my company account as "Lanew"

Hi there,

Checking in on my reply to your answer.

Can you please specify what setting in "3rd artboard" you're referring to? I've linked to a screen shot with my settings

Are there other settings I should use? The setting I have is not preserving the scroll as it is in your test prototype.

TY

Thanks for your help.

What my issue was (turns out) is that I needed to select Transition first, select Preserve Scroll Position, THEN select Overlay.

Also, once you select Overlay, the overlay gets positioned ABOVE the Viewport Height (but actually displays in the Preserve Scroll Position and not above the Viewport Height.
