Problem when internet is slow, lost my edits too

I live in the Philippines where internet is not the best. So I noticed that since XD came out of beta, when internet is slow, the program freezes momentarily every now and then, for example when I drop photos into an artboard and most specially when I do save. While saving, the XD window simply hangs and takes a few seconds before becoming responsive again. But what bugs me is that when I opened my XD file just now, many of my last changes from last night were simply lost! What is going on here?

I honestly don't think it has to do with the internet speed as I have the same issue when trying to save files. While it happens at random it does happen on multiple files and I am connect via cable to fast internet.

Before we proceed to investigate, can you confirm that you have the latest update of XD, Windows, and the drivers on your device have been updated to the most recent?

Thanks,

Preran

Hi Preran. Yes XD is latest version. I'm on a licensed Windows 10 which updates automatically so I assume it is the latest version including drivers.

LATEST

Hi Jasper,

We have reason to believe that the latest Windows update invalidated some drivers. Can you try updating your drivers by following the instructions in this article https://support.microsoft.com/en-ca/help/4028443/windows-update-drivers-in-windows-10 and let us know if it helped? You can also go to the manufacturer's site and check for the latest drivers for install.

Thanks,

Preran
