Responsive Resize issue - Same result when transforming with it on or off

Hi, my issue is that responsive resize produces the same result whether it's on or off. I'm quite familiar with illustrator and toggling on "scale stroke and effects" to do what I need but XD is not cooperating! Tried to search this a few times but haven't come across my issue yet, what am I doing wrong?! Attached a screenshot

Hello,

Thank you for raising the query.

Responsive resize shows its nature on inner object only if there is a parent outer object.

If you create a group of multiple object then group bounds act as parent depending on which while resizing , you will observe pink lines on few sides of few objects which shows how inner objects are responding to the group and which side of object is fixed to the group bounds.

If group is consist of only one element then changes aren't observed. But if you move the same one element group to artboard, where responsive is on then on resizing the artboard again you can see the changes in group with respect to fixed sides.

I hope it would be helpful. For any confusion, feel free to raise.
