Saving to older versions of XD

New Here ,
Mar 08, 2020 Mar 08, 2020

I am new to using XD and to my knowledge, there is no way to save your document down to an earlier version. Is there a workaround? Recently I created an XD document on my home computer with the most current version. The problem is, the university I am attending, I discovered has a much older version where I don't have administrative rights to update the app. Now I put all this work into it and I can't even open it to share with my instructor. My only workaround now is to save my version down and recreate the ENTIRE website prototype I created. DUMB! Adobe, please make it possible to save XD documents down to earlier versions like you can in InDesign!

Hi @DesignUnicorn

Your problem is a known issue in many universities/schools – please contact the IT-Administrators and your Instructor at your institution to update XD.  Personally i don't think, Adobe will change anything when it comes to down-saving.

Please place your wish to Adobe over here: https://adobexd.uservoice.com/
