When I am working with Adobe XD CC, It is working using cloud document but I am not able to see live preview using datacable even it is not synching. I am using windows 10 Laptop and my mobile is iPhone 7. Please resolve the issue.
THIS SOLUTION WORKED. Just open iTunes on windows and restart XD on mobile.

Sorry that you are unable to use Live preview on your iPhone 7 from Windows 10 machine. Could you please share the exact version of Adobe XD, XD mobile and OS build which you are using? I would also request you to make sure that you are trying to use Live Preview as per the details mentioned here: - Preview your prototypes on mobile devices.​

unfortunately, I have the same issue on the same hardware. My specs:
Adobe XD: 17.0.12.11
CC: 4.2.0.25
XD mobile: 17.0
OS: Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit Version (10.0, Build 17134)
OSX: iOS 12.2

Hi,
I am facing the same issue. I am using Windows XD and Samsung A20(android). Moreover, In my mobile, no cloud document is appearing although they have been sync on my PC.
Please resolve this issue. Need to see my designs on the phone.

This is an interesting discussion. The app says Connect iOS devices to XD via USB to preview.
The iPad Pro comes with a lightning cable so there is no way to plug it into a USB for connection to Windows10.
I can definitely use the upload to cloud and view option, but not the Preview on device via cable option.

I was hoping to find a real solution to this but as of today, Sept 15th, 2020 -- it still does not work.
Is there still no solution to getting XD's Live Preview to work with a Windows PC & an Android phone?
The 'correct' answer to open iTunes on the PC and then restart XD on mobile is nonsense and does not work.. iTunes is for music anyway, how would that even make sense?
