tile window to left or right has no effect on Mac

Macbook pro 2020 Catalina last

Window > Tile window to left doesn't seems to have any effect? Can anybody tell me what is it for?

Also why Preferences are greyed out?

Deinstalled reinstalled…

Thank you for reaching out, move to left and right from windows is working fine and my end. Please reinstall XD and check if that works out for you. Preferences are disabled for XD due to some limitations. I'll share your feedback with the team.

Kind of tiling 2 documents windows like Photoshop?

Must say that I have 3 screens (2 LG plus macbook). I deconnected 2 screens >  Same problem with only Macbook screen.
