Version history of my document is all from the same date

Today as i opened my XD-document i had to discover that the whole version history is named by the same date all of a sudden. And indeed, every version I open looks the same! Is it somehow possible to restore my marked versions? What could be the reason that this happened?!

If you go to the Creative Cloud Website, open your XDC file there, and click on the clock icon for the Timeline, does it show the same dates and times there?

Hi Myra, thanx for the quick response … the timeline that i can see on the Creative Cloud website is different. Here i can see different dates and if i open them they show different states of the document. Never tried to reach my data this way. So far, so good … but why is that happening? How can i reach the correct timeline using the XD app?

Hi Hershika, 

The problem appears also with other projects, at least two documents with a longer history as far as i can see for the moment. In the first case, everything I did in 2023 ist correctly documented in the timeline. For the last year there's only data from 23.06.2022. In the second case everything in the history is from 02.12.2020.

 

I am working on mac OS Ventura 13.0.01.

The app updates automatically, so I am now working with XD 56.0.12

 

Hope that helps an you can find a solution for this problem.

Hi Harshika, I only can share one document as it is not confidential but rather published since a while (but it has the same problem!). I am not sure how to share the document best … can i just share it as a Adobe Cloud document and make you a collaborator? If i make a local copy, the history will be lost anyway, right? Therefore i would need your E-Mail-adress … Thanx!

i will send you the requested information via e-mail as soon as the upload to our file server has finished. Please note that the E-Mail adress is not the same as the one attached to my adobe cloud subscription … at least the company name in the adress is the same, so i hope you will not have any issues connecting the data to this thread.

is there any progress concerning the timeline-bug that i reported? Am i the only person in the adobe universe having this problem? I really have to say that this is … or better was in the current situation … a core functionality working with XD. Collaboration hasnt become easier as the timeline isn't reliable anymore.
