I was curious to know is there a Pro/Con from using the XD "Hover State" versus creating a new state called "hover". Thanks.

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. There is no difference in how the component will work be it be creating a Hover state using the preset or if you are creating hover state through new state manually. It's just that if you use the preset (Hover State) then in prototype mode the destination and the action type would be set automatically and if you are using a new state then you will have to manually set the trigger, action type, and destination.
