XD 34 is now live! Includes new tools, enhanced collaboration & design system workflows

Hi everyone!

The MAX 2020 release of Adobe XD introduces the new, expressive design and prototyping tools, enhanced integrations with Creative Cloud, and improved workflows for design systems and developer handoff. 

New features in XD 34: 3D Transforms, Nested Components, Auto Height text, Design Systems powered by CC libraries, Deeper CC Libraries integration, and Support for components and states in libraries and Design Specs. Coediting is now out of Beta! Read on for more info on these features.

• 3D transforms: Manipulate objects in 3D space to add depth and perspective to your designs.
• Nested Components: Modify nested components without impacting the main component; states in components are now supported.
• Auto Height Text - Dynamically adjust the height of the text layer based on the content of the text layer using this option.
• Design systems powered by CC libraries: 
  • Design teams can now create, distribute, and update design systems using CC Libraries.
  • Designers can publish all assets and components to a library and invite others to consume the design system library.
• Deeper CC libraries integration: Access and consume assets from CC Libraries directly within the Assets panel in XD, now renamed as the Libraries panel.
• Support for components and states in libraries: Components and any associated states can now be published to a CC Library and distributed as part of a design system.
• Coediting is no longer Beta: Coediting features can now be used in environments where policy restrictions on using Beta features prevented it from being adopted.  
• Components States in Design Specs: Developers can now view and see detailed specifications for all states of a component in Design Specs.
• Updated XD cloud content APIs: For plugin developers, expanded cloud APIs allow access to more information about XD documents including renditions of all layers, layers metadata, and design tokens.
• A whole bouquet of plugins!: Includes plugins for Visual Studio, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Workfront and more!
