I just updated XD to version 38.1.12 and it immediately crashes on start up. I get an OS dialogue that says "Can't load Adobe XD" and an error 6.

I have uninstalled, reinstalled, wiped the preferencs with no luck. I have even reverted back to the prvious version and it now no longer works (same boot crash).

Crash report is here:

I don't know anything about that specific error, but have you tried using the Creative Cloud Cleaner tool? https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html
