Hello
I hope someone can put me right here - I can make Master Components and they are great...but, I always have clients changing things around and adding extra into screen.
Q: How do I add extra bits to a Master Component (like xra text or even an icon)...and have in change all Instances on all screens. Can anyone give me a heads up on this - as I don't want to remake a Master and place the thing on all screens again.
Thanks: Daryl
Please review https://helpx.adobe.com/xd/help/linked-assets.html . You can update your components.
THANKS ARES.....I had a YOU TUBE Adobe XD teacher tell me this was the way to do this....but it seems your way is the right way. Their answer is below: Seems a weird way to resolve this! Thanks Daryl
You can add it as a layer in the master component and then hide that layer by default. Then, in the children component that you want to show that icon you can override the visibility by just toggling it on just for that child layer.

Was hoping for a small section to info to nail this down and got a whole page of info:
Ares, Is this the part that I need to fix from my question please:
Edit linked component in source document
If so, I will focus on that part and try it out....let me know please? Daryl
