XD freezes when selecting File>Open Recent on mac

When trying to select File > Open Recent from the top menu, my mac freezes and I am unable to select my recent files. Is this a known issue?

We're sorry for the trouble. We would like to know a few more details-

• The version of XD and the details of your operating system?
• Does that happen with every file?
• Have you tried signing out of XD, Creative Cloud desktop app, restarting the machine, and then launching XD from Creative Cloud desktop app?

Hi Harshika,

It happens with every file. This is also an issue for my colleague. I've tried restarting etc, but it does not fix the issue.

I am using the latest version of XD and Macos Monterey Version 12.1
