XD freezing and crashing

With the understanding that my prototypes are very large files with a lot of prototyping, I am suddenly encountering a lot of issues with XD freezing when I try to edit or import images, and then crashing altogether. Short of abandoning my prototypes completely, is there anything that can be done to fix this behavior? Did something change? Is anyone else encountering this?

Sorry to hear about the trouble. Can you confirm the version of XD & OS and if this is happening with a specific file or multiple files? Is this happening with local files or cloud documents?

I am using th most current version of XD (57.1.12) on Sonoma 14.4.1. It's a cloud based doc. This happens with multiple (but not all) of my files, the larger ones, primarily.
