XD not allowing new projects

Hello, I just downloaded XD for the first time and it won't let me start a new project. All it lets me do is go to the tutorial. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey there! Sorry to hear you're hitting this problem. Can you please check to see which version of Creative Cloud Sync you have installed? You can check by going to the Creative Cloud desktop app > ... > Preferences > Creative Cloud tab (IMPORTANT STEP) > Files sub-tab.
