Sorry to hear about the trouble. Please ensure that XD is updated to the latest version which is 42.1. In case if it still doesn't work, please try the steps shared below:
- Sign out of XD and Adobe CC Desktop app.
- Close CoreSync and all Adobe related processes from the Task Manager/Activity Monitor.
- Reboot the computer.
- Please sign in back and ensure that you are not using any different Adobe ID.
- Launch XD and check if you are able to see the files.
