Hello everyone, I have a doubt regarding adobe xd icons export.

When I am designing on iphone 6/7/8 plus size, then by screen size it means by default we are designing icons for 3x size as 6/7/8 plus uses 3x sized icons.

Then why are we exporting icons at 1x when we are designing on iphone 6/7/8 plus size.

If your App is only targeting iPhone 6/7/8 Plus, X/XS Max then yes, you only need @x3 size. In reality your App would support, say iPhone XR, too though? Then you'd need @x2 size too.

You'd bundle x1, x2, and x3 images into your iOS app, hence XD exports in three sizes.

Hi kennethkawamoto2, actually I want to say, when we are designing on Iphone 6/7/8 plus or even on iphone X screen, we should export our icons at 3x (because it is 3x screens size), but we export it at 1x. Why?
