Basically I want to click on some text (or a button) and that action transitions other objects on the SAME artboard to their New State. The new state is a colour change for the objects that are grouped together (and were made a component of course to add the new state). In prototype mode ive added a hover state and then another interaction for the text to try to go to the new state destintation of the other group but their new state is not available in the drop down menu as a destination! Why? The task is a guitar fingerboard with notes labelled on top of it. I want to highlight some of those notes depending on the trigger destination. FOr instance to see certain notes change colour (new state) to highlight them such as A minor notes light up when you click on the text A minor etc. Right now i have to have multiple artboards each with a drawing of particular notes coloured in on the fingerboard then link to each illustration from the text or button trigger. I'd really apppreciate some help with this. It should be possible to accomplish this but apparently I lack the skill to figure it out!
