Adobe XD Crashing on Windows

Adobe XD is Crashing continuously, I tried reinstalling also but still not working 😞

  1. The version of XD.
  2. Is it crashing on a specific file or multiple files?
  3. Does it crash while performing a specific task or it's crashing randomly?

Hi Rishab,

 

My team has been facing a similar issue. After the update on last Friday. XD keeps hanging and crashes after some time.

 

1. XD Version: 36.2.32

2. It is crashing on multiple files.

3. It hangs for a long duration when multiple users are accessing a file.

I have attached a crash log as well.

As our whole project is based in XD, it is currently hampering our productivity.

  1. The version of XD. - 36.2.32
  2. Is it crashing on a specific file or multiple files? It's crashing with all files
  3. Does it crash while performing a specific task or it's crashing randomly - Crashes on the start of the XD, not able to work at all

Hi Abhishek,

 

Thanks for sharing the details asked by Rishabh. We would request you to please share the logs and crash dumps

along with the XD file by uploading them to a shared location such as Creative Cloud or Dropbox and share the URL with us over a PM.

 

Please share your system specification. We have seen below steps helped few windows customers in the past so I would also request you to please try and let us know if that helps you as well.

 

1. Uninstall XD.
2. Quit Creative Cloud Desktop app and kill all related processes from Task Manager.
3. Delete temp files by going to run(Win+r) then %temp%
4. Delete Adobe XD CC folder from  C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe
5. Restart the computer and install XD

 

We will try our best to help.

I have followed all your given steps but still, the issue continues. This is so annoying it's hampering our project deadlines, this was not expected from Adobe.
