Brushes in XD

New to XD.
created a graphic in illustrator, using a brushed line.  import to XD, the vector lines come through, but the brush does not.
the only solution i have it convert to .PNG
is there a way to import brushes to avoid this small step?

If you place the ai image into your CC library you will be able to open in XD without any issues.

You can then go back into ai, edit the library version and it will update in XD automatically.
