Can't I export files from XD

When trying to export an asset or the whole board I get the error message "There was a problem exporting your assets". I tried all the troublsehooting steps I found in Community: reinstalled the tool, changed the location. My colleagues who work with the same board on their machines do not experience this issue.

 

Answering the troubleshooting questions from one of the threads I found:

 

  1. The version of XD and the OS: XD - version 38.1.12.2 Creative Cloud Sync 4.9.0.19; Windows 10 Pro, version 1909, OS build 18363.836
  2. Are you getting this error while exporting to a specific format or on all formats? - all formats, all files, uploaded/created from scratch
  3. Have you tried changing the destination of the export? Please try that and let us know if that helps? - Yes, it didn't help
