Regardless of what settings I use, I get a crash everytime I use the text tool. I can add photos, shapes etc. without problems but the moment I use the text tool, it freezes for a moment then crashes.

Microsoft Windows 10 Pro

Version 10.0.19030 Build 19030

Processor Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X5365 @ 3.00GHz, 2992 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)

Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 16.0 GB

Adapter Description AMD Radeon HD 5450

The event viewer states that the faulting module is msftedit.dll:

Faulting application name: XD.exe, version: 24.3.22.2, time stamp: 0x5dcd056a
Faulting module name: msftedit.dll, version: 10.0.19030.1, time stamp: 0xc53a46bb
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x0000000000086ae2
Faulting process id: 0x168c
Faulting application start time: 0x01d5a2cf3cb47ed9
Faulting application path: C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Adobe.CC.XD_24.3.22.2_x64__adky2gkssdxte\XD.exe
Faulting module path: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\msftedit.dll

Faulting package full name: Adobe.CC.XD_24.3.22.2_x64__adky2gkssdxte
Faulting package-relative application ID: App

I have tried SFC /SCANNOW and tried to uninstall and reinstall XD. I also uninstalled SkyFonts, Reset Windows font settings to original and tried to update Windows and any drivers. Any other suggestions?  Thanks

I updated to build 19033.1 and the problem is gone so the issue was with Windows.
