Dealing with an odd number of items in a 2-column "Repeat Grid"

When you have a 2-column Repeat Grid, and want to display 7 Employees instead of 8 on this Adobe example (below).
How do you remove the 8th item? I ended up adding a white square over it— like MS-PAINT™.

As per my knowledge, it is only possible to do so by Ungroup Grid and deleting the 8th column.
