[Design]-Content Aware feature doesn't work well with components in XD.

So you create a button and turn on the padding to take advantage of the content aware feature, select that group and make a component of it, the content aware feature is disabled because it is no longer "grouped". I think it is a wasted step that I have to go back into the component and group the contents again and turn the padding back on. Shouldn't the newly created component preserve that setting?

Hi Sarah,

Thanks for reaching out. I have tried reproducing what you described at my end and after making a group into a component. I do not have to turn ON the padding again. It was already ON for a component. Please see the attached video and let me know if I missed something and it would be really helpful if you can share the video of your workflow.

Hope it helps.

Thanks,
