Hopefully this is the correct forum for bug reports.
1. I create a parent component.
2. I make an instance of that parent on a new artboard via copy paste.
3. I create a new component with 2 states (child - 1, child - 2) within the instanced parent.
4. I make copy of that new component within the instanced parent.
5. I make a change to that instanced child.
6. I switch states between the instanced child, and the change I made is reverted.

I've never had any issues with this before. Is this a bug, or working as intented? Working on MacOS Mojave 10.14.6, and updated Xd this morning

Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out and using Adobe XD. I am unable to reproduce the same at my end on windows machine. I will check that on macOS and share the status with you. Is it happening on the latest version of XD 28? Would you mind confirming if it's happening with all the files or with this specific file?

We will try our best to help.

Thanks,

Harshika

I am running on version 28. And it seems to be happening on all of my files, I've tried with 2 existing projects as well as opening up a new file from scratch. Screen Shot 2020-03-11 at 3.40.55 PM.png

Sorry for the delay in response. We have the current version available for XD (28.3). Could you please update it and let us know if you are still experiencing the issue?

I will try my best to help.

Thanks,

Harshika
