I am trying to do symbols in XD. Is that nested within the layers menu? Or has my workspace changed? I only see the 'assets'-'layers' & 'plugins' modes. It does not match the tutorial. Thanks much

Hi,

Yes, the symbols are components now. You can make any shape/text a component by just clicking on the "+" near the components in the assets panel or keyboard shortcuts "Ctrl+k" in win , "Cmd+k" in mac.

Hope you enjoy working on it.

Thanks & Regards,
