Hello Guys,

Thanks for help, I tried everything, even i removed all other adobe apps but it didint work out.

Finally I was able to fix the issue when i reset my windows system to default factory setting. I dont know but it looks like a cache issue.

Hi Victor,

Sorry to hear about your issue. Unfortunately I couldn’t reproduce it at my end. Would you please try the following and let me know the observations
  1. Select the item you want to duplicate in the layers panel and then press Ctrl+D. Check in the layers panel if the duplicate gets created and also try dragging the item in the canvas.
  2. Single click the item you want to duplicate and then press Ctrl+D. Again check in the layers panel if the duplicate gets created and also try dragging the item in the canvas.
  3. Let us know your OS and XD version.

Thanks,
Jagriti

Hi Victor,

Thank you for trying the steps suggested by Jagriti. I tried the same at my end on my windows machine and CTRL+D worked fine. Would you mind checking if your graphic card drivers are upto date? Please visit the manufacturer site to check for the latest update. We would also like to know if it's happening with all the files or with a specific file?

We will try our best to help.

Thanks,

Harshika

Hi Victor,

In addition to what Harshika suggested, I'd recommend trying one more thing. Shortcuts issues generally occur when there is a conflict with any other software. I'd recommend closing all the applications, rebooting the machine and then only launch Adobe XD and check if you are able to use the shortcut.

Please try this and let us know how it goes.

Regards

Rishabh
