Hello. I'm having trouble with my hover states in XD. I'm trying to get my button to move up slightly on hover. But when I try to change the hover state, XD automatically changes my default state also, and vice versa. My hover states work fine when I am revealing a hidden layer just not when I try to move my layers. What I am doing wrong?

Hi there,

To change the position of only the hover state you need to go into edit mode of the hover state and move it up. Only when you apply the change into the edit mode it will change only for the hover state and not for the default state.

Hope it helps.

Regards,

Jagriti Kashyap

for hove states, you have to select the new state youhave added from properties panel, then go to layers, if it sublayer make sure that you are inside the group (if it has a group) and make the change.

so make sure that you are on the new state not on the main state. and go and select the layer and make changes.
